Chris Greenman, MBA/MHA, CMPE

President

Chris Greenman has been in orthopaedic group practice for over 22 years. For the past 20 years, he has been the administrator for Tahoe Fracture & orthopaedic Medical Clinic. He has overseen the addition of several ancillaries, design and construction of medical office buildings, installation of PACs, EMR, remodels of medical office space, and physician recruitment. All this time, Greenman has been a member of AAOE and for the past 6 years, Greenman has enjoyed volunteering on the AAOE committees and councils (communication, technology, and data analytics).

Michael Behr, MD, MBA 

President-Elect

Michael J. Behr, M.D., is Medical Director of OrthoAtlanta and was one of the founding members of OrthoAtlanta. Dr. Behr served as a practicing orthopaedic surgeon for 25 years, specializing in general orthopaedic surgery with an emphasis in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, and hip and knee joint replacement. Dr. Behr has served as President of the medical staff at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Georgia and currently serves on its hospital board. Dr. Behr has served as an Assistant orthopaedic Consultant for the Chicago Cubs, as Director of Athletic Care at the Aquatic Venue for the Paralympics, as co-medical director and sideline physician for both the Peach Bowl and Chick-Fil-A Bowls and has worked with athletes at the 1996 Olympic Games.

Dr. Behr is a dedicated medical professional who is also known for donating his time and medical talents to those in need in some of the most impoverished parts of the world. Dr. Behr has traveled annually to Haiti providing orthopaedic surgeries since 2010 and in 2018, Dr. Behr participated in a week-long orthopaedic medical mission trip in Honduras for the non-profit One World Surgery. An Atlanta-based team of five orthopaedic surgeons and 32 additional medical staff enabled a first-of-its kind orthopaedic surgical effort at Holy Family Surgery Center providing 37 total knee replacements in three days.

Francis “Sam” Santschi, JD, CMPE

Sam Santschi has 13 years experience as a Practice Administrator for a solo orthopaedic surgery practice where he is extensively involved in all aspects of running the practice. Santschi started his career in banking and attended Law School at night. He spent four years with AT Kearney, an international consulting firm headquartered in Chicago and concluded his banking/financial services consulting career with an AT Kearney client, ABN-AMRO. 

Santschi joined AAOE in 2006 and served as the Council Chair for the Membership Council for the five years. He is currently serving as a mentor in the AAOE Mentoring Program.

Kim Wishon Marden is the Chief Executive Officer of Watauga orthopaedics. Prior to joining Watauga, Wishon led women’s health services, business development, and consultative and support services at Holston Medical Group. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and her MBA at King College.

Kim Wishon Marden is the Chief Executive Officer of Watauga orthopaedics. Prior to joining Watauga, Wishon led women’s health services, business development, and consultative and support services at Holston Medical Group. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and her MBA at King College.

Sami Spencer, FACMPE, CMM

Sami Spencer is the Chief Executive Officer for Missoula Bone & Joint and the Missoula Bone & Joint Surgery Center in Missoula, Montana and has held this role for thirteen years. Sami has over 25 years of orthopaedic management experience and has had experience in other specialties as well as a healthcare consultant. She is a Certified Medical Practice Executive/Fellow (FACMPE) through the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) and a Certified Medical Manager (CMM) through the Professional Association of Health Care Office Management (PAHCOM). She is also the Advocacy Chair and Board Member for Montana MGMA. Sami has been a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) since February 2000 and has served as a Board Member, the Annual Conference and Education Committees, and currently holds the Secretary position.

Sami Spencer is the Chief Executive Officer for Missoula Bone & Joint and the Missoula Bone & Joint Surgery Center in Missoula, Montana and has held this role for thirteen years. Andrea Allyn, MBA, ATC

Andrea Nelson Allyn is the Director of Clinic and Sports Medicine at Heartland orthopaedic Specialists. Andrea has over 15 years of sports medicine experience in the orthopaedic industry, serving as an athletic trainer and a clinic and sports medicine coordinator. As a member of AAOE for 11 years, Andrea has previously served on the Young and New Professionals Committee, Elections Council, and Membership Council.

Andrea Allyn, MBA, ATC

Andrea Nelson Allyn is the Director of Clinic and Sports Medicine at Heartland orthopaedic Specialists. Andrea has over 15 years of sports medicine experience in the orthopaedic industry, serving as an athletic trainer and a clinic and sports medicine coordinator. As a member of AAOE for 11 years, Andrea has previously served on the Young and New Professionals Committee, Elections Council, and Membership Council.

Kitchi Joyce

Kitchi Joyce is the Chief Administrative Officer for IntraHealth Group/OrthoAtlanta, a 40 physician orthopaedic group with 13 locations throughout Metro Atlanta, Georgia. She has more than 18 years of orthopaedic management experience both at the clinic and corporate levels. Kitchi has held the title of Practice Administrator, Director of Marketing, and Director of Administrative Services.

She is experienced with the integration of finance, business development, human resources, information technology, marketing, and all other aspects of practice management. Kitchi has been a member of the American Alliance of orthopaedic Executives since 2010, serving on the Annual Conference Committee for three years, the Elections Council twice, and the Membership Committee. In addition to AAOE, Kitchi is also an active member of MGMA.  She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Association of orthopaedic Executives (GAOE), most recently serving as President of the organization.

Joseph Mathews, PT, DPT

Joseph Mathews is the Practice Administrator for Advanced orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Houston, Texas. Achievement-oriented, compassionate professional with 10+ years’ experience in managing the day-to-day business operations of a 12 physician orthopaedic practice that generates more than 70,000 clinic visits annually across multiple clinics.

Megan O’Hara

Megan is the Practice Manager for Robert V Moriarty MD PC in Huntington, NY where she successfully manages a private solo orthopaedic practice in conjunction with a separate IME business. She has served 22 years as an administrator in the healthcare environment. 

Megan started her career in an entry level position, and has a unique perspective of all aspects of the day to day operations of a medical group practice with an  emphasis in orthopaedics. Her experience ranges from front office reception to all facets of billing including insurance contract negotiation, durable medical equipment, physical therapy, and practice management.
